Are you working on a baby registry, and feeling a little lost? When I put together my baby registry a couple of years ago I remember feeling overwhelmed and unsure of what to add to it. Below I have shared all of the items that were (or should have been) on my baby registry. You will find links to my personal reviews of products as well as my favorite baby items and gear.
Amazon Baby Registry
You can create a baby registry on Amazon HERE, the service is completely free.
When you set-up your registry on Amazon, it will walk you through the different categories of baby products to ensure that you have thought of everything you may need. Once you have completed selecting items for your registry in each category, you will be eligible to receive a free Welcome Box. You will be notified when you are able to order it which comes after at least $10 in items have been purchased off of your registry (once again it is FREE). The Welcome Box is pretty neat, it is a surprise selection of full, travel and sample sized products for baby and parents-to-be.
I did not include furniture, breastfeeding items, or clothing, just the items that I feel would be great for a baby registry. I feel like people like to pick out clothing on their own to give as gifts. Also clothing styles and availability change so frequently that an item you like may no longer be available when it nears your baby shower or baby’s arrival. We did put the crib that we wanted on our Amazon baby registry so that we could use our completion discount to save some extra money on nursery furnishings.

Baby Bedding
Ultra Soft Waterproof Crib Mattress Protector Pad From Bamboo Rayon Fiber by Margaux & May
Having a crib mattress protector is very important. Night and nap accidents will happen. I suggest registering for two.
Burt’s Bees Baby – Solid Fitted Crib Sheet, 100% Organic Crib Sheet for Standard Crib and Toddler
These crib sheets are so soft and comfy. My son sleeps best on his Burt’s Bees sheets. I also recommend at least two that way you have a back-up.
*TIP- Layer one mattress protector, then sheet, then another mattress protector, and another sheet. This makes middle of the night accidents easier to clean-up and get baby back to bed.
BreathableBaby Mesh Crib Liner for Portable and Cradle Cribs
Having a breathable mesh bumper is far safer than the quilted or padded crib bumpers. The bumper helps keep little baby arms and legs inside the crib.
Diaper Changing Station
Summer Infant Contoured Changing Pad
A simple change pad with buckles does the trick. The Summer Infant change pad is a classic and popular one, most change pad covers fit with no issues.

These are wonderful because not only is the design cute, but they are also waterproof, eliminating the need for change pad liners.
The Good Baby Diaper Caddy – Nursery Storage Bin and Car Organizer
Having a simple diaper caddy makes diaper changes easy in any room or car. You can easily take it from place to place and have everything you need organized neatly inside.
Diaper Dekor Classic Diaper Pail
This diaper pail is sleek and easy to use. It has a foot pedal to lift the lid and an additional drop down lid to help keep the diaper stink contained. The front of the pail opens making waste removal super easy.
Diaper Bag

This diaper bag is my absolute favorite. It is big and fits everything for baby and myself, plus it is designed with organization in mind making everything easy to find. Baby Feeding

These spoons are wonderful, and were my son’s first spoon. He was able to start feeding himself and grasped the concept of a spoon at a very early age. These silicone spoons are also fun for babies to teeth on and will last. I recommend keeping one in the kitchen and one in the diaper bag. Bumkins Silicone Grip Dish
This silicone dish is super grippy! It is dishwasher safe, durable and minimizes meal time messes.
OXO Tot Waterproof Silicone Roll Up Bib with Comfort-Fit Fabric Neck, 2 Pack
These bibs are easy to clean, roll-up for storage and are the only bibs you will need. I recommend rolling up and OlaSprout spoon in one and keeping it in the diaper bag for eating away from home.

This drying rack is not only functional but also a fun piece of kitchen decor.

Baby Jogger 2016 City Mini GT Single Stroller
This stroller is awesome, it is lightweight especially for its size and it folds up fairly small making it easy to keep in a car. It handles extremely well, has lots of cargo space for storing a bunch for long outings. We have taken ours on airplane flights, walking around New York City, full days at the zoo and jogging regularly. This stroller is built to last and even though ours is almost 2 years old, it still works like it did right out of the box. I recommend spending more on a stroller as you definitely get what you pay for.
Chicco KeyFit 30 Infant Car Seat
The Chicco KeyKit is a solid carseat. It feels like the best protection for a new baby and is very durable and easy to clean. Our son grew out of it at about 15 months and it too was in almost new condition. Our first child’s carseat her infant seat started falling apart before she was even one year old. The Chicco is a bit heavier than other infant seats but it definitely feels safer to me.
Fisher-Price Auto Rock ‘n Play Sleeper
The Rock ‘n Play was a huge help for me and was the most soothing out of all of the various chairs and swings that we purchased. If I could go back in time I wouldn’t have spent the money on an expensive swing, or even bought a vibrating chair.
The Rock ‘n Play came highly recommended from my pediatrician. The incline and rocking helped my son fall asleep without being in my arms. It plugs in, which I prefer that way I don’t have to spend a small fortune on batteries to power it. It has a soothing rocking motion, 2 speeds to choose from. There is also a relaxing sound machine integrated with 12 different sound/song choices. The Rock ‘n Play folds making it easy to take from room to room or place in the car when away from home.
Summer Infant Pop and Sit Portable Booster
This booster is seriously awesome. It is not only affordable, but very convenient. We bought one to keep in our car because we found ourselves frequently in need of a place to feed the baby/toddler. It really is a great little travel seat. Read my full review here.
Ergobaby 360 Cool Mesh Ergonomic Baby Carrier
I love Ergobaby, it so comfortable and makes getting around without a stroller so easy. My son still able to fall asleep while I am walking around Target or through an airport.

This white noise machine is my favorite. It is small portable and plugs in or can be battery powered making it easy to use anywhere.

We have used this monitor daily for almost two years and it still works wonderfully. The monitor battery charge has lasted the same amount since it was new.

I love my son’s Aden + Anais swaddle blankets, they have so many uses. The blanket is lightweight and makes a wonderful breastfeeding cover and carseat cover.

Burp cloths are essential, and these Burt’s Bees burp cloths are both absorbent and soft.
