This past weekend I was able to attend the Prego Expo for a few hours. I wish I could have been there for the full event, but you know how adult life can be. Family birthday parties, sleepovers, grocery shopping… the list seriously goes on. Anyhow, I made it for the last half of the day with my overly tired toddler, and grouchy tweenager in tow. I don’t know which one was more difficult.
In this post you can find what brands, seminars and giveaways were at The Prego Expo here in Arizona. The website stated that the expo was in Phoenix, but actually it was in Mesa at the Mesa Convention Center. I assume this was just because Phoenix is a more recognizable city to out of state attendees. Anyhow, without further ado…
The Brands
Unfortunately, I didn’t get to stop by all of the booths, but below are the big ones that I visited and some of my favorites.
Huggies
The Prego Expo’s main sponsor was Huggies, so they were giving away TONS of diapers. If you were motivated enough you could have walked out of the expo with a decent amount of diapers and wipes. We were obviously not motivated enough, we walked away without any Huggies. We don’t currently need small diapers so… we let those slower moving pregnant ladies and husbands grab them.
Noobie Box
If you preregistered for a Noobie Box online, you were guaranteed a box to take home. By the end of the Expo there were tons of left overs. People do amazing things when there is free stuff up for grabs. We watched as women (who appeared to VERY pregnant) frantically stacked these boxes up 10+ high and maneuvered themselves and their swag through the crowds. It looked like a circus performance, “The Amazing Balancing Pregos”. I get it though, I LOVE getting stuff for free, especially stuff that I need. Below is a video of what we found inside our 2018 Noobie Pregnancy Box. From what I understand about the Noobie Box, you can register online for a free Noobie Box once a year. There are also a few different Noobie Box options that can be purchased and make great gifts.
Chicco
Chicco the baby gear experts, were definitely present at the Prego Expo. They had a great booth where you could stop by and check out some of their great products. At the end of The Prego Expo, there were some really amazing giveaways from Chicco. Quite a few lucky expecting mothers walked out with a carseats, travel gear and even a bassinet full of goodies. Chicco was very generous and I can only imagine how excited those expecting mamas that won the raffle felt strolling out of there a winner.
Shipt
Shipt is a cool new website that recently has been popping up a lot in my feeds. I was really excited to learn more about them. So here’s what Shipt is all about. You can pay a yearly subscription, which is currently about $100 to have your shopping done and delivered to you by basically a personal shopper. First, go online and see what stores are available in your area. Then you can shop the aisles of the available stores through the website or app. When I move into our new home, I will definitely be giving this a shot. Grocery shopping with a toddler is a real challenge and I typically end up buying stuff I don’t need and not getting what I do.
Enfamil
I didn’t make it over to the Enfamil booth before they ran out of their giveaways. But they did tell me that they were giving away tons of formula and products. I noticed that they have a toddler formula which definitely has me intrigued and I will be looking into it further.
LILLE Baby
LILLE Baby had a great booth, they had a bunch of their products and were very helpful in selecting and fitting baby carriers properly.
Cloth Diaper Resources
This booth was sponsored by SprayPal. The booth featured a variety of different styles of cloth diapers and accessories. Also, they were very informative and had a seminar “Learning the In’s and Out’s of Using Cloth Diapers With Your Baby.”
Tula
We stopped by the Tula booth to check out what they brought with them. I love Tula and all of the fun prints they use on the carriers, bags and even shoes. If only my little guy was ok with wearing a little backpack, there is a dinosaur print that I LOVE, but so far he is more into wearing messenger bags. Oh well, I will just have to try again in a couple of weeks at MommyCon.

The Seminars
Ok, so I am actually really bummed that I couldn’t attend any of the seminars. These all looked fantastic and I would have loved being able to give them all of my focus. We had a busy day, and we really were only able to make it towards the end of the expo.
Daddy Pow-Wow: Hosted by Newton Baby & River Babe Threads. This was more of a pep-rally and there was a swaddling competition. It seemed like the dads had a great time at this and even by the end of the Prego Expo, these guys had a ton of pep!
Gyft Baby App: Hosted “The Top 10 Pregnancy Workouts Exposed”
A to Z Sleep Solutions: Hosted “Safe Sleep and Top Sleep Tips for Babies and Toddlers”
*I really needed to catch this seminar, my little guy has been giving me a lot of sleepless nights lately.
Spray Pal: Hosted “Cloth Diapering 101: Learn the In’s and Out’s of Using Cloth Diapers with Your Baby” with Jennifer Aprea.
*We cloth diapered my son for about 18 months, and I really wish that I had more knowledge on it, this would have been a perfect opportunity.
Modern Mommy: Hosted “Common Newborn Freakout Findings: When to worry and when to relax,” with Dr. Whitney
The End of The Prego Expo
Babies&Bumps Fashion Show: I think that this was my daughter’s favorite part of the day. The pregnant models were stunning in every look. There were super glamorous dresses, casual daily wear and everything in between. Even some baby wearing carriers went down the runway modeled by dads and their precious little ones. These guys were great and the crowd loved them.
Giveaways: As I already mentioned, Huggies gave away a lot at the end of the show. Cases upon cases of wipes and diapers were thrown out to the crowd and even raffled off. Each ticket into the expo had a raffle number and there were some other ways to get extra raffle tickets. Chicco, Huggies, LILLEBaby, Tula and so many more wonderful and pricey items were raffled off. So so many families that were expecting walked out of the Prego Expo with some great products.
Would I recommend attending the Prego Expo in the future?
YES YES and YES, GO IF YOU HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY! I plan on attending next year if they make it back to the Phoenix area. If you are interested in attending a Prego Expo, I recommend checking their website to see when and where they are heading next.
What are some of your favorite parenting conventions or expos to attend? I would love to hear from you in the comments section below!
