As a member of Parent Squad, I was…errr… I should say my son was selected to try out the Ergobaby On The Move Sleep Bag. We have been struggling with our son’s frequent waking throughout the night for a long time now. My son NEVER liked sleep sacks past 6 months of age (he is now 27 months). I am guessing because he didn’t like not being able to move around easily. When my package from Ergobaby arrived I couldn’t contain my excitement. Could this be the solution to our nighttime problem?

Our Experience:
Okay so my son is going through a phase in which he rejects five different t-shirts before settling on one. There appears to be no rhyme or reason to it, just that he wants to make decisions. I was so worried that there was no chance in hell that he would let me put this on him. After a bribe of the dark chocolate persuasion, he let me zip him up. Well guess what… HE ACTUALLY LIKED IT!!!
We did his normal end of day routine of bath, hair brushing, lotion and pjs, then on with the sleep bag. It feels so soft, the zippers are very nice and it was fairly easy to adjust. Jasper ran around and played easily in the Ergobaby On The Move. He was even able to climb up into his highchair and go up and down stairs with ease.
Now, I don’t know if this little guy was just extra tuckered out from all of that On The Move running around… but he actually slept longer and more peacefully than he has in months! I was shocked, it appeared that this “hybrid” of a sleep bag was just what we needed. Our little guy wanted the comfort of a blanket that doesn’t fall off but the freedom to move his legs and have his feet out. While he didn’t like having the foot holes tucked away, he was comfortable sleeping with it in the romper mode.
My Conclusion:
I love the Ergobaby On The Move Sleep Bag! It is available at a pretty affordable price point and will be a baby shower gift “go to” of mine. Now I have quite a few, but putting it in a diaper bag with some of my other favorite baby items would be a fantastic gift. So, if you have been debating trying one of these out for your little, I highly recommend it.
