Making the Recipes:

This was my first time receiving a Simply Earth Monthly Recipe box and let me tell ya, I am hooked! Making the recipes was a lot of fun and pretty easy. I love that included in the box are nicely designed and easy to read labels for the month’s recipes. My kids especially enjoyed the recipes geared towards them. The Natural Slime and Lavender Scented Bubbles we total hits, and the Sweet Dreams Bath was a perfect way to relax before bed. Having a teenage daughter and high energy pre-schooler home all day while being pregnant requires some healthy stress management. That being said… my favorite recipes were the Sweet Dreams Roll-on and the Scented Stress Ball.

In order to make some of the recipes I did have to head to the store. I didn’t have corn syrup or clear unscented dish soap. Fortunately I did have the required corn starch for the slime, epsom salt for the bath and flour for the stress ball. So that being said, you may not be provided with everything required to make the recipes, but they are ingredients that are pretty common in most homes. The recipe cards do indicate which items are not provided in the recipe box.
